KIDLINGTON Forum will belatedly celebrate turning 50 this weekend.
The county’s largest table tennis club opens its doors on Sunday for an event postponed by a year because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Forum was formed by Aubrey Hughes in November 1971 and has produced several top players and coaches.
The club now boasts more than 160 members of all ages, as well as its own dedicated premises in Kidlington with a six-table venue.
The festivities run from 10am to 2pm and will include a series of table-tennis related party games, plus refreshments.
There will also be an opportunity to watch junior and senior players take part in an exhibition tournament.
