City were fourth in the table when the 2020/21 campaign was controversially cancelled and finished fifth last term to qualify for the play-offs.

And Coyle wants more of the same this season as Ross Jenkins’ side aim to mount another promotion push.

“I’m buzzing to sign again,” he told City’s official website.

“We’ve got a good group of lads here and the objective this season has to be to improve and try to better ourselves from last year.”

Coyle follows Reece Fleet, Josh Ashby, Zac McEachran, Charlie Rowan, Joe Iaciofano and Ben Dudzinski in re-signing for next season.
