New parking restrictions are set to come into place at the Kassam Stadium and Leisure Park.

The Firoka Group of Companies is launching the measure to counter misuse and unwarranted parking by people not using Oxford United's on-site facilities.

Parking Eye, similar to the system in place at the Express by Holiday Inn and the Hampton by Hilton hotel, will start functioning from Thursday, March 14.

However, these restrictions will be relaxed four hours before and after kick-off at all United home games.

Fans visiting the ticket office or club shop, or meeting with club officials outside of the match day grace hours will get a 20-minute window, which can be extended to a three hour period by registering their vehicle.

However, regulations will prevent fans travelling on the London Road Coaches to away games from leaving their cars in the car parks.

Despite this, parking spaces are available down Grenoble Road.

Fans are suggested to allow extra time to park and get back to the designated bus stop.

Overnight car stays are also a definite no-no.

Full details of these updates can be observed on signage at the stadium and leisure park.

The move aims to maximise the convenience of United supporters and visitors at the Leisure Park, while reducing the misuse of facilities.

It is advised that visitors and supporters note these changes and plan their visits accordingly.
