Kingston Bagpuize looked well on course for victory in Division 2 when Rob Keates (106) and Martin Shepherd (58) put on 179 in 34 overs for the first wicket after being asked to bat at Horspath.

The run rate dipped when they were gone, but 288-9 still looked to be an impregnable position.

Robbie Eason (80) and Adam Pitt (56) had other ideas, however, and Phil Chanel (80no) saw the home side to maximum points with just three wickets down.

Horspath 30pts, Kingston Bagpuize 13.

Ian Crosby hit an impressive 125 from 105 balls and Chris Thomas 110 from 129 as Oxford 2nd racked up 335-5 at home to Morris Motors Exiles.

The pair put on 202 for the first wicket before Ronnie Sehkri smashed 49 from 32 balls to make Exiles regret choosing to insert their hosts.

Ian Evans then took 6-58 as the visitors crumbled to 152 all out.

Oxford 2nd 30, Morris Motors Exiles 3.

Mike Cook took 6-80 as Abingdon Vale maintained their ten-point lead at the top by easily beating Challow & Childrey.

Only Steven Burry (47) could get going in Challow's disappointing 159 all out, which Vale passed for the loss of four wickets thanks to the in-form Tom Pollard (63no) and Cook (31no).

Abingdon Vale 30, Challow & Childrey 10.

South African Riaan Krynauw was in the runs again, this time hitting 94 in Tiddington's 181 all out at Bourton Vale.

Vale's powerful batting line-up was never in trouble in reply as Hamza Almuzahim (88no), Noaz Mucaadum (38) and Anderson (36no) clinched an eight-wicket victory.

Bourton Vale 30, Tiddington 10.

Openers Martin Middleton (77) and Russ Turner (33) set up Bledlow Ridge's solid 239-7 declared in 48 overs at Leighton Buzzard Town.

The industious Chris Welsh also chipped in with 39 before taking 4-33 in a marathon 26-over spell.

But neither side could force a win in the 52-over second innings as Town closed on 155-7.

Leighton Buzzard Town 5, Bledlow Ridge 17.
