OXFORDSHIRE continued their preparations for the Minor Counties season with a mixed day against Free Foresters.
Playing in two T20 friendlies at Abingdon School, the side tasted victory and defeat.
Oxon won the first match by seven wickets, Shabaz Alam hitting 54 off 36 balls as they posted 136-3.
Joe Thomas had earlier taken 3-10 as Free Foresters were dismissed for 133.
Oxon batted first in the second match, Will Sutcliffe leading the way with 78 and Tom Condon contributing 37 in their 155-4.
But, despite Rob Keat taking 3-22, the visitors won by two wickets, as Oxford Downs batsman George Sandbach hit 28 off 13 deliveries late on.
