MATT Williams believes unbeaten Chinnor face their biggest test yet when Caldy visit Kingsey Road tomorrow.

The newly-promoted side are top of National League 1 after three straight victories.

But a number of knocks have contributed to five changes, one positional, for this weekend’s fixture.

Dan George, Will Bordill and Kieran Goss are all set to undergo late fitness tests, but the latter is still expected to start at full back.

Ben Thomas (calf) is injured, Rob Bell is unavailable, Ben Betts has been recalled by Ealing Trailfinders, while Caolan Ryan (hand) is still sidelined.

Matt Beesley, George Oliver, Tom Ranaboldo and Max Davies are handed starts, with Joe Dancer switching to open-side flanker.

Director of rugby Matt Williams is backing his side to deliver once again.

He said: “This is now our biggest test because for the first time this season we have a lot of knocks.

“It’s testing the depth of our squad and when you’re winning, the last thing you want to do is make changes.

“But it’s forced and I back the boys coming in to stand and deliver.”

Despite it being their debut season in the third tier of English rugby, Chinnor impressively top the table on points difference.

But Williams is taking no notice of the early standings.

He said: “I always knew we were going to have a good start because we have a very good squad.

“But three games in even looking at the league table is laughable, so all we need to do is worry about each week as it comes.”

In National League 2 South, Henley Hawks bid to return to winning ways when they host Tonbridge Juddians.

George Wood, Jack Antonio, Ross McDougall, Dave Manning and Jake Albon come into the starting line-up.

Witney travel to Salisbury looking to record their first win of the season in South West 1 East.

Fly half George Lewis is unavailable after suffering a head injury last week.

Banbury eye a fourth-straight victory to preserve their 100 per cent record when they travel to Marlborough.

Oxford Harlequins host Swindon at Horspath Sports Ground after back-to-back wins.
