OXFORDSHIRE’S Alec Hepburn is among 25 players retained by head coach Eddie Jones for England’s match against South Africa at Twickenham on Saturday.
The former Henley Hawks and London Welsh prop, who now plays for Aviva Premiership side Exeter Chiefs, is part of a group which will stay at a training camp in Portugal.
Hepburn, who previously captained Oxfordshire Under 17s, made his international debut against Italy in the Six Nations in February.
England’s match against the Springboks is the first test of the Quilter International series, which also includes matches against New Zealand (November 10), Japan (November 17) and Australia (November 24).
