GROVE slipped to fifth in Southern Counties South after a 37-10 defeat at Frome.

The hosts headed into the break with a 10-0 lead and struck with two converted tries ten minutes after half-time as the visitors were always playing catch-up.

Ben Lloyd Jones and Nick Sevier went over for Grove, but Frome added to their tally with a penalty and converted try.

In Southern Counties North, Bicester drew 22-22 with relegated Slough.

The sides were locked at 10-10 at half-time, with Peter Tarrega and Ollie Cassidy going over.

Bicester opened up a 12-point lead when Tarrega and Charlie Bethell crossed, Dan Spencer converting the latter.

Slough hit back with two tries in seven minutes but, crucially, the second conversion was missed.

Wallingford were beaten 34-10 at leaders Windsor.

Craig Irwin crossed, Ben Selwood, who also kicked a penalty, converting.

Relegated Littlemore lost 85-20 to Marlow.

Will Thornton (2) and Stewart Beale went over for the hosts, with Jonny Gerrard slotting a conversion and a penalty.

Chipping Norton landed the BB&O Championship title in their final game of the season.

The side needed to win with Abingdon just two points behind.

And Chippy were crowned champions in style, beating Phoenix 53-8 at home.

Max Benson (2), Angus Brown, Ross Rochell, Simon Morris, George Wallis, James Ramm and Dan Lightfoot, who kicked three conversions, crossed. Chippy were also awarded a penalty try.

Abingdon ended their season with a victory, easing past Berkshire Shire Hall 63-12.

Harwell lost 45-18 to Aldermaston.

In the BB&O Premier, Didcot boosted their promotion hopes with a 30-12 win over Oxford.

The result keeps them second with two games to go.

Charlie Ellis, Conner McCaffrey, Lloyd Taylor and Josh Witts, who kicked two penalties and two conversions, crossed.

Gosford All Blacks beat Hungerford 59-5.
