LITTLEMORE rugby player K Kairu Kagia has died.
The Southern Counties North club posted the news on social media over the weekend.
Kagia, known as 'KK', played for Littlemore's second XV and was regularly seen supporting on the sidelines.
A club statement on Twitter reads: “It is with much sadness that we have to announce the sudden passing of one of our players.
“K Kairu Kagia, known as ‘KK’ will be hugely missed by all at Littlemore RFC, and we offer our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends at this sad time.
“RIP K K”.
Club president Tim Stevens added: "He became a member of the club about two years ago.
"He played for the second team on a few occasions, but was a strong supporter of the club.
"It's quite a shock. We all saw him a week last Saturday at our last league game.
"He was very well liked and an active member of the club."
