DIDCOT earned promotion to the seventh tier when beating hosts Risborough 29-12 in the BB&O Premier.

The win saw them secure second place in the division with a game to spare.

Ben Cox scored two tries, with Stephen Moran, Charlie Ellis and Mark Harper also crossing.

Ben Huxley kicked two conversions.

Wheatley secured a 44-24 win at home to Bletchley.

Alex Gabbidon, Tom Heydon, Luke Aguis, Jordan Hook, Sanda Mpanza, Michael Ridge and Ollie Kenworthy went over.

Aaron Laman, who also kicked a penalty, kicked two conversions, with Josh Murcott also adding the extras on one occasion.

Gosford All Blacks lost 24-17 at Milton Keynes, while Oxford were beaten 50-0 at home by Drifters.

Will Thurlow’s late try earned Bicester a 24-19 win at Stow-on-the-Wold in Southern Counties North.

The sides were locked at 19-19 at the break after a thrilling first half.

Bicester led 7-5 early on, Ollie Dawkins’s try, Dan Walker converting, cancelling out Will Turner’s score.

Stow then went 19-7 ahead when Tom Rose and James Holmes crossed, Dan Adams adding the extras.

But Bicester hit back to level the game at half-time, thanks to two tries from Dan Spencer, Walker converting once.

The visitors were let off the hook in the second half as Stow had a try disallowed, while Adams missed a penalty.

And Bicester secured victory in the last move, Thurlow crashing over following a sweeping move.

Wallingford beat Aylesbury 22-10 at home.

Nathan Chapman crossed twice, with Conner Murphy also going over.

Ben Selwood kicked two conversions and a penalty.

Littlemore handed Reading a walkover.

In Southern Counties South, Grove beat Yeovil 33-19 at home.

Ben Law, Guy Nicholl, Ben Nicholl, Steve Dixey and Jack Ponting crossed, with James Monks adding four conversions.
