CHINNOR have made a good start in their appeal to raise £25,000 from members.
Last week chairman Simon Vickers made the plea after the club missed out on ‘tens of thousands of pounds’ in revenue due to events cancelled in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
More than £6,000 has been raised so far, putting the National League 1 club, who are based in Thame, a quarter of the way to their target.
The money will be used for essential maintenance and preparation of the clubhouse through the summer ahead of the 2020/21 campaign.
