CHINNOR have re-signed three key members of last season’s squad.

George Grose, Kieran Goss and Caolan Ryan will all be part of the new line-up at Kingsey Road under new director of rugby Richard Thorpe.

Grose has been with the club since he was eight and made his senior debut in 2014.

The centre, now 25, said: “It’s a whole new chapter and times have changed. It’s an exciting prospect and who knows when this situation will finish, but hopefully we can get some rugby started.”

The versatile Goss, who can play at full back or on the wing, joined Chinnor in 2015.

The South African has scored 38 tries in 111 appearances and is looking forward to another campaign in National League 1.

He said: “This is my home and I’m very happy to stay – it was kind of a no-brainer.

“Obviously, we’re still living in uncertain times, but everything is starting to take shape at the club and we now have a new director of rugby in Richard Thorpe, so everything fell into place for me.”

Full back Ryan has scored 119 points in 30 appearances for the club and is staying for a third season.

He said: “I feel at home here and I’ve settled locally.

“My family love the area and I see myself staying here for a long time.”
