Oxford United were beaten by a sickening last-gasp goal at Cambridge, after leading at half-time.
Gary Twigg had fired them in front four minutes before the break.
But Cambridge levelled five minutes into the second half through Leo fortune-West, and Lee Boylan hit a winner for the hopome side four minutes into stoppage time at the end.
Oxford paid the penalty for giving away too many free-kicks right at the death.
Arthur Gnohere was the first guilty man, but got away with it when Courtney Pitt's drive was well blocked.
But seconds later, from another free-kick, Boylan spun well and hit a low angled shot past Billy Turley and into the bottom right corner of the goal.
When Twigg opened the scoring, he celebrated by running over to grab the corner flag and using it as a mike to do an Elvis Presley impression.
But Cambridge equalised in the fifth minute of the second half following a break down the right.
Jeannin dived in but couldn't stop Dan Gleeson knocking over a perfect cross, and Fortune-West, running in, capitalised on some poor marking to head past Turley.
And worse was to follow right at the end.
