BEAUTY students sent their models down the catwalk on a trip back in time to the fashion of 1940s Britain.
Hair and beauty students at Abingdon and Witney College did the hair and make-up of their models for the day, the Royal Air Force Association (RAFA) Brize Norton Calendar Girls.
The college held the fashion show as part of the hair and beauty exhibition it organised at its Abingdon campus on Monday.
Beauty student Millie Fleming, 18, did the make-up for her model Deminique Stevenson ahead of the cat walk show.
Keeley Dennyschene, a nails and beauty teacher at the college, said the exhibition was organised to give the students an experience of a real trade fair.
Beauty firms came along to do demonstrations and also give students advice. The event attracted about 350 people.
Steph Mileson, 20, from Wootton near Abingdon, said: “We got a good understanding of what it’s like to run a beauty stall and I’m hoping to set up my own business as a mobile beauty technician.”
