A man had to be cut from his car after coming off the M40.
Fire services from Wheatley, Thame and Kidlington used hydraulic cutting equipment to free the 25-year-old from his vehicle.
Emergency services say his car left the motorway as he was travelling northbound between junction 8a and junction 9 in the early hours of Sunday.
Ambulance crews took the victim, who officials say suffered a “reasonably serious” shoulder injury, to the John Radcliffe Hospital after he was freed.
