A 56-year-old man and a 57-year-old woman accused of beating up a lorry driver have appeared at Oxford Crown Court.
Albert Matthews, of Grendon Road, Earl Barton, Northampton, and Eileen Rawlins, of West Park Road in Lingfield, Surrey, are both charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent following an attack on a 50-year-old man in Culham Road, Abingdon, in October.
The case was adjourned until June 16 and the pair were released on conditional bail.
