POLICE community support officers were sent to Wheatley Park School on Wednesday after reports of a fight.

Police said they were called at 2.30pm and warned there might be a fight after school, but nothing had happened.

Wheatley Park headteacher Kate Curtis said an online rumour about Cheney School pupils coming from Oxford to the school to fight was “completely untrue”.

She said: “I am confident no pupils from Cheney School came to Wheatley Park this week, except for planned events.”
