THERE have been long delays on the A34 northbound following an accident between two lorries and a van.
The northbound carriageway was closed until about 1pm, and there was still congestion 20 minutes later stretching down to Botley. There was also heavy congestion on the B430 all the way up to Middleton Stoney as drivers try to get around the crash site.
A man has been taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital with minor injuries.
The accident happened near Weston-on-the-Green and there is congestion to the Peartree Interchange.
The air ambulance was also sent to the scene.
Fire service spokesman Martin Crabtree said firefighters were called just after 10.30am. One man was freed by firefighters.
