OXFORD MAGISTRATES

1. Ervin Mata, 32, of Park Lane, Woodstock, admitted drink driving in Worcester Street, Oxford, on June 8. Had 83 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given a 42-month driving ban and fined £200. Also told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

2. Tyrone Chaney, 24, of Coopers Piece, Wallingford, admitted drink driving on the A4130 in Brightwell-cum-Sotwell, near Wallingford. Had 98 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given a 23-month driving ban and fined £230 and told to pay a £23 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

3. Jason Powell, 43, of South Street, Middle Barton, near Chipping Norton, admitted failing to notify West Oxfordshire District Council of a change in his circumstances that would affect his entitlement to council tax benefit between March 13, 2006, and March 31 last year and housing benefit between July 27, 2009, and April 19 last year. Community order made with a four-month curfew requirement and told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

4. Naomi Skingsley, 38, of Moor Avenue, Witney, admitted drink driving in Mill Street, Witney, on June 7. Had 74 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Also admitted driving without insurance and without a licence in the same location on the same date. Given a 16-month driving ban and told to pay a £345 fine. Also told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

5. Jason Cloete, 21, of Ogbourne Road, Wantage, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Mill Street, Wantage, on June 7. Given a 12-month conditional dischage and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

6. Christopher Curtis, 31, of Walton Street, Oxford, admitted stealing a bicycle wheel from Little Clarendon Street, Oxford, on June 8. Fined £200 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

7. Nicola Harris, 37, of Nettlebed Mead, Oxford, admitted possessing heroin, a Class A drug, at Abingdon Police Station, Colwell Drive, Abingdon, on March 30. Fined £100 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £20 costs.

8. Paul Castle, 33, of Swarbourne Close, Didcot, admitted failing to provide a specimen for analysis on June 9 at Abingdon Police Station, Colwell Drive, Abingdon, and failing to stop after a road accident on the A4074 in Crowmarsh Gifford, near Wallingford, on the same date. Given a two-year driving ban and told to pay a £350 fine. Also told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

9. Nigel Fletcher, 46, of Morrell Crescent, Littlemore, Oxford, admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Morrell Crescent, Oxford, on June 9. Fined £50 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £50 costs.

10 Alan Jensen, 53, of Millington Road, Wallingford, admitted stealing food worth £166.40 from Waitrose in St Martins Street, Wallingford, on March 13. Fined £80 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge.

11. Tony Williams, 33, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted stealing three bottles of bubble bath worth £225 from Debenhams in Oxford on June 8. Fined £60 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge.

12. Nicholas Wise, 33, of Gibbs Crescent, Oxford, admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, in Gibbs Crescent, Oxford, on May 25. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

13. Adam Leszczewski, 43, of Teal Close, Oxford, admitted speeding at 44mph on a 30mph road, namely Iffley Road, Oxford, on November 1. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £25 costs. Licence endorsed with four points.
