A MEDIEVAL festival is being staged in Abingdon as part of the town's Heritage open weekend.
There will be a series of events and open houses on the weekend of Saturday, September 10 and Sunday, September 11.
The festival will take place in the Market Place, at the County Hall museum, and at Abbey Buildings and will include children's pottery sessions and medieval-themed cooking.
The activities are being organised to celebrate the building of Abingdon Bridge exactly 600 years ago
There will also be a number of walks, talks and exhibitions throughout the weekend.
Staff at the museum are looking for volunteers to help them put up stands in the Market Place.
