VOLUNTEERS, councillors and council officers have been getting their litter pickers out to help clean up Didcot over October half term.

Didcot Town Council have organised a week-long litter pick which started on Saturday (October 22) and will continue until tomorrow (Thursday 27).

Volunteers have been meeting at several locations across the town from 10am to 1pm each day to help clear up the area.

Didcot Civic Hall was target on Saturday, followed by Fleet Meadow Community Hall, Loyd Rec and Willowbrook Leisure Centre.

The civic hall will be cleaned again tomorrow (Thursday 27) by volunteers for the final session of the week.

Stuart Mundy, an officer at Didcot Town Council, has been volunteering as well as organiser Chelsey Lordan, councillor David Rouane and more.
