A VEHICLE has been seized in Wantage after Thames Valley Police carried out an insurance check.

The policing team had pulled the vehicle over yesterday morning (December 2) to conduct a drink drive check under ‘Operation Holly’.

It was pulled over as the motorist had committed multiple road traffic offences.

Everyone present in the car blew zero on Drager drug and alcohol test machine but upon further tests police realised the car had no insurance.

A total of six drivers were reported for speeding offences yesterday.

In a statement released on Twitter, the road policing team said: “Six drivers reported for speeding offences and this one for no insurance. Wrap up warm. It’s a long walk home.”
