Thames Valley Police are hunting thieves after three burglaries in which jewellery was stolen.

Officers from the Priority Crime Team in Abingdon are appealing for witnesses after three separate incidents in the town.

The force is asking residents to review CCTV, dashcam and doorbell footage in the area.

The first theft took place in Alexander Close between Thursday (December 1) and Saturday (December 3) (crime ref: 43220544869).

The second happened at 6.34pm on Saturday in Old Farm Close (crime ref: 43220544823).

While the third theft took place in Eason Drive between 7pm and 7.45pm on Saturday (crime ref:  43220544793)

In all of the burglaries listed, the offenders gained access to the properties by smashing the glass of rear doors.

Once inside the thieves stole jewellery.

A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: “If you have any footage or relevant information you can get in touch by calling 101 and quoting the relevant reference number.”
