A VINTAGE shop in Didcot is closing down after four years due to less people on the high street and increase parking fees.

Emma’s Vintage Style, in Edinburgh Drive, announced the closure late last year stating they also have more family commitments.

Announcing the closure on Facebook, the owners said: “We are extremely sad to announce that we will be closing the doors on our beloved little shop.

“This has been a difficult decision and not taken lightly. We have been open four years and have survived different difficult trading times, poor health, loss of family members and much more.

“However our lease is up and due to less people using the high street shops, increased parking fees and most importantly family commitments we have decided to close.

“We have both had great fun and would like to thank our landlords for all their support, local traders, general public who just open the door and say hello, our family and friends, but most of all all our amazing customers.”

The shop will be open for the final time on Saturday (February 4) from 10am to 4pm.

The owners added: “The final curtain for our little shop is this Saturday. It has been an absolute pleasure being part of the community for past four years.
