A brewery has released details about its range of new cask ales as it celebrates its 175th year.

The first two of these seasonal Hook Norton Brewery beers are already available.

'Outside Half' is a rugby-themed amber ale, and 'Double Stout' is based on the brewery's original 19th century recipe, with a blend of chocolate, coffee, and caramel flavours.

Long running beers like the Haymaker Premium Pale Ale and the Twelve Days Porter are now accompanied by new entries such as Lock Steady 2.5 per cent - a low strength, easy-drinking pale ale - and Autumn Ways, with its floral aroma and soft dark fruit flavour.

Hook Norton Brewery managing director James Clarke said: "We’ve worked hard on this year's range and it includes a great mix of our classic beers we all love and look out for, and some really exciting new styles that we think will tick the variety box people are looking for more and more these days."

The selection of cask ales will be available throughout the year at the brewery, in Hook Norton pubs and select pubs across Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Northamptonshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire.

The majority of the range will also be available in a bottle.

Hook Norton Brewery still uses much of the original brewing equipment and machinery.
