A folk band will be performing at a venue near Wallingford as part of their 28th spring tour later this month.
The Feast of Fiddles, formed in Nettlebed on Valentine’s Day in 1994 for a one-off special concert, are once again setting out on their Spring Tour - this time for a 30th anniversary celebration.
Audiences can expect a unique live music experience at Benson Parish Hall on April 18.
Over nearly three decades, the band has completed 28 spring tours, played at 26 festivals, and produced 7 CDs.
BBC Radio 2's Mark Radcliffe hails them as "Britain’s fiddling supergroup".
The band's line-up features Garry Blakeley, Ian Cutler, Marion Fleetwood, Peter Knight, Tom Leary, Brian McNeill, and drummer Dave Mattacks, performing various fiddle playing styles.
However, the exact line up may change.
Alongside celebrating their 30th anniversary, the band will reflect on their lost member, saxophone and keyboard player Alan Whetton, who passed away from cancer in 2022.
The Feast of Fiddles looks forward to continuing to perform, saying: "The general consensus seems to be whilst we can and whilst we want to, we will."
The band will be playing at 18 shows up and down England but have been unable to "make shows in Scotland and Wales work out".
