A woman from Didcot was arrested yesterday in Melksham, Wiltshire, following a Crimewatch appeal.
Adelle McColl, 40, is in police custody and due to appear at Oxford Crown Court this morning.
Det Con Dave Edwards said: “We had a huge response from the public following the Crimewatch appeal and I would like to thank the media and the public for helping us to find McColl.”
Adelle McColl was wanted for assault causing grievous bodily harm after she fractured a man’s eye socket and jaw in March last year. She was convicted in her absence after she failed to turn up at court in June.
