There was no need to hold an election for seats on Wallingford Town Council as the number of candidates standing did not exceed the number of seats.
The new councillors, all of whom stood as independents, will meet for the first time next Monday, when Colin Dolton will be made mayor.
Also automatically elected was Chiltern Crescent resident Stu Darby, who has campaigned against plans to build homes on a site between Wantage Road and Bosley Way.
