JOBSEEKERS in Abingdon got tips on finding employment at a free careers advice event.
People of all ages visited the Community Shop, in Bury Street, for the three-day event, organised by Adviza, formerly Connexions Thames Valley.
The charity gives advice and information to young people to help them make better decisions so they can progress in education or work.
Between September 1-3, visitors spoke to careers advisors and received free impartial support.
They could also pick up a free employability pack with more job information, created by Adviza in partnership with Barclays.
Advisors were also joined by Jacqui Turner from the National Careers Service.
Careers advisor Terry Bianchini said: “There are so many changes with university and education at the moment that it is important to hold events like this.”
