AN OUTDOOR pool in Abingdon has closed for the season ahead of improvement works.
The Abbey Meadow Outdoor Pool closed on Sunday, with the indoor pools at White Horse Leisure and Tennis Centre now reopened after 10 weeks of maintenance.
The leisure centre is also set for an extension to its gym area, set to be completed in December, Vale of White Horse District Council said.
Charlotte Dickson, cabinet member for leisure added: "We’re really grateful to the public for their patience over the ten week closure."
