THE engineers of the future were given a chance to have a go at building at Didcot’s Railway Centre.
Sessions were held on on Sunday for three to six year olds to encourage little ones to get interesting in engineering and science.
They provided a hands-on experience and helped them to explore the centre, which houses an extensive collection of steam engines, coaches and railway buildings.
Ann Middleton, the commercial manager for the railway centre, said: “Hopefully we managed to encourage a bit of interest in the railways and set people on a path which may end up with them working on the tracks in the future.
“Our volunteer Victoria Haval worked really hard to make it happen and she was pleased.”
