A CONTRACTOR has been appointed to fix Wantage's wonky wall.
Vale of White Horse District Council revealed the contract with Fergal Contracting on Friday and said it hoped to have a timetable for works confirmed shortly.
The council has asked Fergal to repair the parts of the Wallingford Street wall which are at risk of collapsing and leave the rest as it.
The council originally hoped to demolish the whole structure but residents objected, forcing a u-turn.
