HUDSON Tonga’uiha will face his brother, Soane, when London Welsh visit Northampton Saints today (1).
London Welsh centre Hudson, 29, takes on prop Soane, 30, for the first time, although they have played together for Tonga.
“I’ve always looked up to him,” Hudson said. “It will be interesting to test myself against my elder brother for the first time, and I’m so looking forward to it. The battle is on!
“He really is a big guy, but that won’t stop me from giving him a little challenge since I move a bit faster than him.
“Maybe Saturday will see David score another victory over Goliath.”
Hudson returns to the London Welsh side as one of nine changes.
Tom Arscott starts at full back and Tyson Keats is named at scrum half.
Prop Franck Montanella, hooker Neil Briggs, lock Kirill Kulemin and flankers Ed Jackson and Daniel Browne complete Welsh’s returnees.
Soane Tonga’uiha is back at loose-head for Northampton, with Brian Mujati in at tight-head.
Saints include England internationals Courtney Lawes at lock and Phil Dowson at openside flanker.
