LONDON Welsh romped to a nine-try victory that ran their Italian opponents ragged at the Kassam Stadium today.
Victory kept alive the Exiles' mathematical hopes of reaching the Amlin Challenge Cup's knockout phase for a few hours at least.
It is expected Stade Francais will end those hopes tonight by beating Grenoble to top the table.
Full back Tom Arscott starred with tries and plenty more for Welsh.
Flanker Lee Beach, hooker Dan George, centre James Lewis, scrum half Alex Davies, wing Phil MacKenzie, plus replacements Ashley Smith and Michael Hills also went over.
Davies kicked 17 points, while flanker Alfonso Damiani scored Prato's solitary effort.
Damiani and his captain Niccolo Tempestini were sin-binned in the first half of a game that Welsh dominated.
