OXFORD United will spend a week in Austria as part of their pre-season preparations.
The training camp will come after United’s opening friendly at Didcot Town on July 11 and includes a game against Bundesliga side SC Wiener Neustadt three days later.
Michael Appleton’s men will be based just outside the city, which is south of Vienna.
It is the first time United have gone overseas since 2012, when they visited the USA.
Plans are in place to hold an open training session for supporters who make the trip.
Appleton, United’s head coach, said: “We went out to look at the facilities and discuss the arrangements and were really impressed.
“It is a chance to get away together as a squad for a week, make sure the new boys feel part of everything and get some serious work done just before the new season.
“I am sure there will be a number of Oxford fans looking to come out and watch the game and it is a week we are looking forward to.”
