CLARE Norrish continued her fine form in finishing as the first lady at Sunday’s Henley Trail Half Marathon.
White Horse Harrier Norrish broke the 90-minute barrier as she came third overall in 1hr 27mins 50secs.
At the Woodstock 12, Abingdon AC’s Paul Fernandez saw off David Bruce, of Oxford City, and James Bolton, of Woodstock Harriers, to win in 1.07.13.
Paul Jegou, of White Horse Harriers, was fifth, while Abingdon’s Martin Ineson crossed in 12th.
In the Rutherford Appleton 10k, Abingdon duo Chris Sharpe and Adrian Francis came fourth and seventh, while clubmate Clare Humphreys was the second woman to finish in 15th overall.
Meanwhile, Abingdon’s Owen Stepney finished his track season with a win over the mile at the Vale of Aylesbury Open Meeting, with a personal best of 4mins 31.8secs.
Further afield, Angela Milliken-Tull, also Abingdon, completed the Loch Ness Marathon in under four hours.
