CURTIS Nelson is in line for a return to Oxford United’s starting line-up after fully recovering from injury.
The skipper has missed the last two games with a jarred knee, but is in good shape to return against Gillingham.
United manager Pep Clotet said: “Curtis has been training the whole week.
“For me it’s important when players come back from injuries they have a good period of training before featuring again.”
“This gives them the confidence that everything is alright and they have had the preparation.”
Dwight Tiendalli (hamstring) is out, so Christian Ribeiro is likely to play at right back, making space for Nelson.
Deadline day signings Alex Mowatt and John Mousinho are available for the first time, but Agon Mehmeti will not be considered.
Aaron Morris (knee) and Bradley Garmston (calf) are doubts for the visitors, but Gabriel Zakuani is back from international duty with the Democratic Republic of Congo.
