Chris Wilder guided Oxford United to three successive wins last month
CHRIS Wilder and Jake Wright have been shortlisted for npower League Two awards for August.
The Oxford United boss is in the running for the manager of the month prize after leading his side to the top of the table with victories against Bristol Rovers, Southend United and Plymouth Argyle in the opening three games of the season.
He is up against Martin Allen, whose Gillingham side also took maximum points in August, and Paul Tisdale of Exeter City.
Wright has been nominated for the player of the month award, alongside Gillingham's Myles Weston and Ian Dunbavin from Accrington Stanley.
The winners will be announced on Friday morning.
