Steve Roberts hit 91 not out and James Florey 55 as Oxford Downs 2nd clung on to their thin promotion hopes in Division 4 by beating Princes Risborough.

Downs cruised to 169-2 in reply to the home side's 168-9, in which Steve Greaves top-scored with 35.

Didcot captain Matt Jones looks like taking his side to safety on his own after another stellar all-round performance was too good for Buckingham Town 2nd.

Jones took 4-49 from 15 overs as Town were bowled out for 201, then held the reply together with 81 as Didcot secured a four-wicket win with just two balls to spare.

Andrew Spindler (42no) was there at the death to clinch 30 vital points.
