AN INJURY-TIME goal from player-manager Andy Ballard gave Didcot Town a battling 3-3 draw at Yate on Saturday.

The visitors trailed three times in the thrilling Division 1 South & West game, but fought back superbly for a point.

Yate took the lead after 13 minutes when Sasha Tong fired home the rebound after his first shot had been saved.

Didcot equalised through Mark Janes, but in first-half injury time the hosts regained the lead through George King.

The Railwaymen equalised for the second time on the hour when Luke Carnell powered in a header.

The visitors went behind again when Josh Morgan-Williams netted in the 89th minute.

But Ballard curled in an equaliser past Dempsey in injury time.

Wantage Town moved a point away from the drop zone with a 1-1 draw at Bridgwater Town.

The visitors took the lead through Sam Barder in the 57th minute, but Bridgwater’s Harry Horton levelled seven minutes from time.

This Saturday Didcot entertain Wantage in a derby.
