INJURY-HIT Didcot Town had to come from behind to take a point from struggling Wimborne Town.

The Railwaymen made the trip for the Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West clash without injured trio Mark Janes, Jack Self and Graham Edney.

Wimborne took the lead through James Stokoe’s 12th-minute header.

But the visitors got back on level terms just before the break, when Luke Carnell headed home Lewis Noble’s corner.

It took until the final 15 minutes for both sides to mount serious pressure.

Jack Longford and James Organ both had efforts cleared off the line, but Didcot had to settle for a point.

They are at home to Tiverton Town on Saturday.
