Crowmarsh Youth FC’s under 10s were the toast of the club at their presentation evening held at the Hithercroft Sports Club, Wallingford.
The under 10s group, managed by Steve Hazell, received the trophy for the team with the strongest defence, conceding only 19 goals during their league and cup run in the Oxford Mail Boys League.
Edward Sears received an additional trophy for recording the highest number of goals scored by any club player last season.
The first receipient of the Peter Hunt Memorial Trophy, in honour of the club’s elder staesman who died this year, was Nigel Forster, the club’s vice-chairman and manager of the under 14s.
Dennis Vokins, the under 12 manager, received the Star Trophy for his service to the club in many facets.
The club welcome new members to strengthen the under 7, 12 and 15 age groups.
