HEAD coach Craig Burrows believes Grove need two victories from their final four games to avoid relegation.

The south Oxfordshire club lost 60-12 at high-flying Salisbury on Saturday and are third from bottom.

But only a point separates themselves and Trowbridge, who sit two places above in tenth.

With Leighton Buzzard and Reading still to visit Cane Lane this season, Grove are targeting maximum points at home.

Burrows said: "Other results are going in our favour and we are targeting our two home games.

"I can't see anyone else picking up more than a couple of wins, two will be enough."

Abingdon forward Vince Barnes will not play for the rest of the season after suffering a neck injury in their BB&O Premier encounter at home to Risborough.

The game was abandoned with Abingdon leading 26-8, but Barnes has been released from hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.

In the Championship, Harwell beat Littlemore 60-34 and Faringdon won 24-21 at Oxford.

Meanwhile, Wallingford lost 33-0 at home to Buckingham in Southern Counties North.
