LITTLEMORE maintained their 100 per cent record with a 10-7 victory at second-placed Wheatley.
But the hosts will feel frustrated not to have inflicted a first defeat of the season on the BB&O Championship leaders after gifting the visitors a try.
Wheatley took a deserved 7-0 lead, when Matt Gibb pursued a loose ball, kicked on and outpaced the defence to score. Arron Laman added the extras.
But the decisive moment came when Wheatley laboured at a scrum and the visiting fly half intercepted a pass between the No 8 and scrum half to cross for a converted try.
Littlemore then slotted a penalty to make it 10-7 at the break.
Wheatley’s Laman suffered a medial knee ligament injury in the second half, but the hosts still attacked.
They had two tries disallowed, one from Jack Taylor (pictured), as the visitors otherwise stood firm.
Elsewhere, Faringdon beat Chipping Norton 30-28, while Harwell lost 24-22 at Aldermaston.
In the Premier, Abingdon were beaten 15-12 at home by Crowthorne.
