COACH John Houston could have three champions on his South Moreton books later this month.
Light heavyweights Terry Russell and George Pickett, as well as super middleweight, Gavin Lissenden, fight in the Queensbury Boxing League at Epsom Downs Racecourse, in Surrey, on September 24.
Houston, who founded the club just over ten years ago, said: “All three of the boys are training incredibly hard for the show, and all of them are more than capable of coming back with the belts.”
Russell has moved up a division from super middleweight and takes on Dominic Felix.
Houston added: “The last time they fought back in 2014 it was a really close fight that could have gone either way, but this time I think Terry will be much stronger.”
Lissenden is hoping to retain his regional super middleweight title against Jake Heasman, from East Sussex.
Pickett, a novice light heavyweight, fights fellow undefeated hopeful Daniel Burke, from Northampton.
