LOTTIE James has been called up for England’s Talent Development Programme.
The 12-year-old Abingdon Vale member has picked up gold medals this year at county level and won the 200IM at the South East Regional Age Group Championships in May.
The talent programme provides support to swimmers as they progress through their career in swimming and aims to take them to the very top of the sport.
Abingdon head coach, Amanda Ford said: “It is a fantastic achievement to be selected for such a prestigious camp.”
“Lottie has worked consistently on developing her skills and has been rewarded with gaining a place.”
