FELIPE Massa is preparing for another emotional weekend as he bids farewell to Formula 1 on Sunday.
The Brazilian, who drives for Grove-based Williams, calls time on a 15-year career at the last grand prix of the 2016 season at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi.
After a tearful farewell at his home round in Brazil last time out, Massa, who has won 11 grands prix, expects there will be more of the same as he prepares for his 250th and final race in a Formula 1 car.
“It’s going to be another emotional one,” said the 35-year-old.
“You try not think about it too much when you’re in the car, you just try to do as good a job as you can.
“I really hope the final, and 250th race of my Formula 1 career, can be a fantastic one. We will of course have a big party!”
