TICKETS are officially on sale for The Polar Express Train Ride at Cholsey and Wallingford railway station.

The Christmas experience is returning in December after being cancelled last year due to urgent sewage works on the railway.

It aims to brings the 2004 film, The Polar Express, to life where children will be able to meet the characters including the conductor, the singing chefs and Mr Claus himself.

There will be cookies and hot chocolate as Father Christmas visits each carriage. After the train ride, there will also be a Santa workshop at the railway where children can write him a letter and visit the gift shop.

Organisers recommend families come dressed in their pyjamas for a “full Christmas experience”.
