AN American muscle car, truck, and bike show is taking place this weekend to raise money for a woman battling a brain tumour.

The event, which is taking place at Grove Recreation Ground in Grove in Cane Lane on Saturday (23), Grove, will include about 60 cars, 12 large trucks and a number of motorbikes.

There will also be food and entertainment stalls, a bar, three Transformer cars and an Optimus prime robot.

Funds from the event will go to a local woman named Carlie Buchanan, who is currently battling a brain tumour, through the Brain Tumour Research charity.

Mike Hissey, an organiser, said: “Grab the kids and the rest of the family and head on down to this epic event.”

The event, which is free to enter, will take place from 10am to 5pm.
