A REVISED Neighbourhood Development Plan is available for residents of Long Wittenham to vote on today (28).

Voting is taking place in the village hall but residents also had the option to vote through post.

South Oxfordshire District Council has published the referendum documents on its website which representations submitted to the independent examiner Andrew Northcroft.

The main ideas are of the referendum centres around development south of the existing new housing development by Elivia Homes. The revised plan includes a new school, pre-school, village hall and 45 new houses.

The existing school and village hall will be sold for homes and it’s planned to develop a square near the site of the school.

Money from the sale of the land will help cross-fund the development off Didcot Road.
